The coating on a Safety Max brand fluorescent lamps is guaranteed to last the rated life of the lamp to be free from material defects and will not yellow, peel or crack under normal operating conditions. T8 and T12 fluorescent lamps must be installed and operate in ambient temperatures below 50°C(120°F). Lamps must be used with compatible ballast for the specific lamp type. Lamps can not be used in fixtures employing defective ballasts, ballasts that have been used longer than their rated-life or ballasts that are improperly wired. The lamps can be installed in open or enclosed fixtures. Energy saving lamps,( 30 W, 28 W, 25 W) typically are not rated for use below 16°C (60°F) nor with dimming ballast. Lamps must be used in fixtures with proper socket contact and wiring. Safety Max fluorescent lamps made for use in refrigerated areas only, must be used for this application only. Standard has no control over the temperature range in the areas where lamps are operated, their performance cannot be guaranteed. Compatible with all T8 electronic ballasts.
