Description
Lay-in straight section wireway, NEMA type 12. 16 gauge steel covers and bodies. ANSI 61 gray polyester powder finish inside and out over pretreated surfaces. Seams continuously welded and ground smooth. No holes or knockouts. Smooth, rounded edges on all sections and fittings. Butt hinges and strong latches. Quick-release cover latches. Oil-resistant gasket and adhesive. Gasketed quick-release flat sealing plate.
Lay-in Hinged-Cover Type 1 Straight Sections are used for enclosing wire and cable in wireway runs
Sections are completely open on one side so wires and cables can be laid in along wireway run
No pulling through of wires or cables prevents damage to insulation that often occurs in a pull-through wiring system
Sections are available in lengths from 12 inch to 120 inch, with or without knockouts
